    This national training program presents a standardized method for evaluating the status of treatment, distribution and dispersal technologies used in advanced onsite wastewater treatment systems. It establishes a benchmark standard for operation, maintenance and monitoring activities. This program is delivered in two parts. Part 2 is offered here

    Part 2: This advanced course covers: Timed Dosing • Recirculation Ratios • Treatment technologies, including Aerobic Treatment Units, Media Filters, Disinfection and Drip Dispersal.

    The Advanced program is a two-day course and includes an afternoon “hands on” field session.

    Participation in Part 1 is required before taking Part 2.

    A certificate is issued for the successful completion of this part of the program.

    This event is an abbreviated one-day version of the NAWT OWTS Inspector 2-day curriculum for re-certification and Point of Sale focus.

    There is a growing trend in the onsite industry where regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and builders require onsite practitioners to show documentation of education and training for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems, (OWTS) inspection and management. This two day course, developed by the National Association of Wastewater Technicians (NAWT), delivers critical education and skills needed to implement standardized procedures in the inspection and management of conventional onsite systems.

    This course is designed specifically for Installers.  The updated and expanded two-day program covers the following topics

    • Planning and site evaluation
    • Installing sewage tanks and ATUs
    • Installing below ground systems
    • Installing above ground systems
    • Installing pumps and pump stations
    • Installing media filters

    Additional material has been added incorporating some of the CIDWT developed installer materials. This includes information on surveying and OSHA soil evaluation.
